Today marks the initiation of the World Bank’s implementation support within the Agriculture Modernization Project.

The World Bank is actively engaged in a mission to facilitate the implementation of the Agriculture Modernization Project from November 27 to December 7, 2023.

This mission aims to build upon the outcomes of the preceding mission in May 2023 by tracking the progress of agreed actions and establishing plans for the forthcoming period.

The Bank’s team will meticulously review advancements in each project component, engage in discussions with project and component leaders regarding contract management plans and collaborate closely with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy,  and other agencies that are supporting the implementation as beneficiaries at the same time, namely Agency for Financial Support of Agriculture and Rural Development, Food and Veterinary Agency and Public Enterprise for Management of Pastures.

This mission underscores the World Bank’s commitment to fostering effective implementation of the Agriculture Modernization Project.
