On September 17, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM, a public presentation and discussion will be held at the premises of the Municipality of Gazi Baba regarding the future logistics and distribution center to be built in Skopje.
The event is organized by the Agriculture Modernization Project, implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy and financed by the World Bank.
During the presentation, two important documents that are key to the initiation of the project will be discussed:
-
The Early Market Engagement (EME) Framework
The aim of this event is to encourage an open and constructive discussion with all stakeholders – from contractors and institutions to representatives of the civil sector. The presentation will provide a broader overview of how the project will be implemented, including its technical and logistical aspects, as well as how environmental protection and compliance with social standards will be ensured.
The logistics and distribution center is one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the agri-food sector, aiming to establish a modern hub for wholesale and logistics. The project aspires to increase the competitiveness of domestic production, enable greater product traceability, and contribute to the sustainable development of the sector.
The project invites all interested parties to attend the event and actively participate with comments and suggestions. For those who are unable to attend in person, the event will also be available online through a dedicated link.
An Agenda for the event with full details about the presentations and speakers is attached to the invitation.
