The Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, with financial support from the World Bank, is preparing the “Zletovica Productivity through Irrigation and Renewable Energy Project” (PIREP), covering Phase II – Irrigation and Phase III – Hydropower of the Zletovica Hydrosystem.
For the purposes of the project, a public call is announced for the engagement of a Local Hydro-Mechanical Engineer, on a full-time basis, during the project preparation period.
The Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise, engineering support, and quality assurance for hydro-mechanical systems and equipment, in accordance with national regulations and World Bank standards.
The assignment will include reviewing technical studies, design and bidding documentation, hydraulic assessments, technical specifications, and cost estimates, as well as providing technical support for the preparation of investments in irrigation and hydropower systems.
The Engineer will also participate in technical evaluations, supervision, testing and commissioning of equipment, preparation of reports, and coordination with relevant institutions, consultants, and the project team.
