The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy has published an international Request for Proposals (RFP) for the design, development and implementation of the Integrated Agricultural Information Platform (IAIP), including the State-owned Agricultural Land Management Information System (SALMIS).
The procurement is being carried out under the Agriculture Modernization Project, financed by the World Bank, and represents an important step toward the digital transformation of the agricultural sector in North Macedonia.
The future platform will serve as a unified digital environment for managing agricultural data, replacing multiple fragmented information systems currently in use. The objective is to improve data quality, interoperability, efficiency, transparency and evidence-based policymaking in agriculture and rural development.
A key component of the project is SALMIS, a system that will support the management of state-owned agricultural land and pastures through advanced digital tools and geospatial data. The system will enable improved monitoring, visualization and administration of leased agricultural land across the country.
The project also includes the modernization and integration of existing agricultural registers and information systems, including the Farm Register and the Land Parcel Identification System (LPIS), as well as the implementation of business intelligence and reporting capabilities.
The estimated budget for the procurement is EUR 2.02 million. Interested firms are invited to submit proposals in accordance with the requirements of the tender documentation. The deadline for submission of proposals is 10 August 2026.
The complete set of procurement documents, including the technical specifications and supporting annexes, is available on the Agriculture Modernization Project website, amp.mk, under the “Procurement” section.
