Reconstruction work on the administrative building of the Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development in Skopje is now underway, as part of the Agriculture Modernization Project.
The project marks an important step toward strengthening institutional capacity in the agricultural sector, with the aim of improving working conditions and delivering more efficient services to farmers and other beneficiaries.
The activity is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, in close cooperation with the Agency. Construction works are being carried out by Fabrika Karposh AD Skopje, while supervision is provided by JORD, EZG, Bars Engineering and Kulon Engineering.
The reconstruction will deliver a full refurbishment of the administrative premises, incorporating modern design solutions with a strong focus on energy efficiency, safety and functionality. It will provide improved working conditions for staff, as well as upgraded facilities for receiving and assisting service users.
The project is designed to meet the growing demands on the institution, which plays a central role in administering agricultural and rural development support programmes.
It also forms part of wider efforts to strengthen the operational capacity of the Payment Agency, particularly in the implementation of IPARD measures, including investments in agricultural holdings and the processing and marketing of agricultural products. Further improvements are planned, including expanding staff capacity and upgrading technical equipment.
This investment represents a continued commitment to modernising the agricultural sector by strengthening institutions and enhancing the quality and efficiency of services provided to citizens.
